I integrate an intentional variety of psychotherapeutic and expressive approaches – including art, writing, Lego, body work, and storytelling – in a holistic and collaborative manner.

SOME COMMON ISSUES I WORK WITH

  • Mood and emotional regulation: Depression, anger, anxiety and fear, obsessions and compulsions, etc.
  • Stressful life transitions: Health, education, career, separation/divorce, caregiving, retirement, aging, etc.
  • Interpersonal trauma: Unexpected or distressing life events or circumstances, abuse, domestic violence, adverse childhood experiences, etc.
  • Relationships: Difficulties in romantic, marital, or family relationships, parenting, parent-child communication, caregiving, etc.
  • Identity: Self-expression, self-confidence, low self-worth, perfectionism, poor body image, gender or sexual identity-related difficulties, etc.
  • Self-injury and/or suicidal inclinations: self-injurious thoughts and behaviours, compulsive or risk-taking behaviours, suicidal thoughts, suicide loss, etc.
  • Grief and loss: Actual or anticipated losses in life including death, miscarriage, finances, career, stability, relationship, security, freedom, identity, etc.

ETHICAL PRACTICE

All sessions conducted are strictly confidential.

There are exceptions where confidentiality may be breached, such as in cases if it is determined that there is imminent risk of harm to yourself or others. 

All personal data collected through registration forms will also be handled in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012.

As your needs and trust is of utmost importance, there may be times where I will offer referrals or recommendations to other professionals who might be better-equipped to support you.
